Okay since I'm bored and need to get my mind off of things, I will just post whats on my mind as of right now.
Lately, like I said in my last post, I have been really upset, because of school starting in a couple days, and just because everything seems to not be going right. I guess it's just that time of my teenage years, I guess we all have to feel a little down every now and again, I just hate it though.

I know this may seem like a boring post, not that any of my other ones have been extremely hilarious or "good", but I just need to get this out of my mind.

Random.

Well, I haven't posted in the past 10 days.. Time goes by so SLOW when you're doing NOTHING. xD I should have posted earlier, but just kept forgetting and blowing it off everytime I did remember.
Okay, well I ran out of things to talk about in the "Intro" to myself, so from now on I will just post random stuff whenever I feel like it, after all, it is my blog. ;)
I've really been missing SeaWorld and Alaska a LOT lately, I wish life was easy enough to just hop on a plane and go to both places. :P
School starts in 2 weeks, and I'm nervous. I don't want to have to be a sophmore, it feels like a completely different world then being a freshman. Oh well, it's another year closer to Alaska and SeaWorld, so I can't complain. Hopefully these next three years fly by, like my freshman year did. I can't wait to get back to Alaska.
I've been feeling like a downer a lot lately, I think I feel this way every year before school starts, I over-react a lot on how it's going to end up.

The Orcas.

Okay, the title says it all, be prepared to read a lot! Here comes the stories!
So in my "intro" to myself, I just posted my top 5 orcas, but I feel it's right if I put my top ten! Why not? ;)

I will just talk about my top 5, but there are my top ten!

Ulises -
Ulises is my favorite because he is the first orca I could ever recognize. Before I actually put "effort" into studying orcas, Ulises was one that stuck out by the pictures I had seen, and I knew he was definitely going to be an orca I would never forget. I did so much research on Ulises and literally fell head over heels for this orca. I went many months with wanting to go to SeaWorld to see him, and actually get to meet him in person and not behind a computer screen, and that finally happened on March 12th, 2012, and that was the best day of my life. I can't begin to imagine my life without Ulises. He is my entire life and my whole future revolves around him. Sometimes it sounds a little ridiculous to talk about an orca this way, but I don't care, he is my world. I love him with my entire heart and always, always will.

Shouka -
The reason Shouka is my second favorite orca, and first favorite girl, is because she was the first orca I ever got to see. She was seriously the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my entire life. I honestly can say I didn't know if I was dreaming or not, it sounds strange, but the truth is revealed. I didn't know much about orcas before I saw Shouka, so I obviously didn't know much about Shouka, but I knew that she was a real grumpy and mean orca when she wanted to be, and didn't really ever cooperate with her trainers, but the first orca show I had ever seen, she did perfectly. I couldn't have asked for her to do it better. She is seriously perfection in my eyes. I can't even begin to explain how much she means to me, she made me realize my love for orcas, and she made me realize I want to be an orca trainer. I love her, so much, she is my lifesaver.

Keet -
You know, I don't think there is a real reason behind my love for Keet, but he is so adorable! I love his personality so much, and just how lazy and cool he is. I love how he loves his daughter so much after many years of not seeing her, and I love how he loves all the orcas, even though he is a lower ranking dominance. He is my ladies man, and he is also a big part of my heart, he is one of the cutest bulls I have ever seen and will always have my heart!

Orkid -
Oh man, this one has a story behind it! The reason Orkid is my fourth favorite is because she made my dream come true, no literally, I'm not kidding! I actually got to go down to the glass at Shamu Stadium and meet Orkid upclose and give her signals. She is a beautiful orca who I have always liked, but now that I have actually seen her in person and got to do the interaction with her, I have gained a lot more love and respect for her. She is so powerful and such a smart orca, I can't even begin the explain how amazing she does her behaviors. I love her so much, and I always will, and I will never forget the memory she has left with me forever.

Kyuquot -
The reason Kyuquot is my fifth is because he is just SOOOO amazingly beautiful! I have never personally met Kyuquot, but hopefully I will get to one day, he is so beautiful. He is amazing at his behaviors, and he is such a sweet orca despite some of his past. He is huge which amazes me that he can do some of the behaviors he can do. I love him a lot and hopefully will get to meet him someday!

The Friends.

Well, I didn't realize I would be gone for five days, so I will be doing two blogs tonight. Wooooooh!
This first one will be about my many friends.
I have had one best friend, who if you have read my previous posts, you know is Cassidy. She has been my best friend for nearly 11 years, it's hard to believe, but it's true. Her and I do everything together, we want to go to college together, and also work together, and be in the same town, yada yada yada. She is my world.
But since I have moved away from my old place, where Cassidy remains, I have gained a new friend, and her name is Hailey. Her and I have so much in common. She is also my best friend and I love her to death and honestly don't know what I'd do without her.
But there are many friends I do know in real life, if you will, meaning that I have actually met them, but then there are those who I haven't met, but they are my life. I have many, and I will list them.

Pretty self explanatory, I mean, I DO wanna work there when I get older, and it does happen to own the best thing in my life, cough, Ulises, cough.
So yes, my favorite place that I hope to soon return to. :)

The Career

Well guys, this will probably be my favorite subject to post, as it is my hopeful future career, and that is an Orca Trainer at SeaWorld San Diego.
Obviously I LOVE orcas, and obviously I'd want to work with them. But I didn't always know I wanted to work with them, but I'll post the story now.
Like I said before in one of my recent posts (The Animals), I haven't always known about orcas, better yet the ones in captivity. I personally didn't know what SeaWorld was until about 4 years ago! Sad face!
But after learning a lot, I became very interested in them, but not enough to work with them, well at least like I do now, my best friend wanted to be an orca trainer there, and I wanted to be a photographer there, so I still wanted to work beside them, kind of. But when I saw Shouka, my whole perspective changed, and now I know what I want to do.
I'm going to work with Ulises, no matter what, I have my mind set, and it's pretty hard to change it.

The Show

This is supposed to be for tomorrow, but since I'm not gonna be here, I'll just post it now instead of later. I have to much time on my hands.
Well guys, this kinda intertwines with my last post, because it's my favorite show, and that is: Alaska State Troopers!
Well, it's kind of obvious why I love this show so much. It's practically my life. I'm actually watching it right as I type this, they're talking about bears, the name of this episode is "Grizzly Showdown", just thought I should let you know. ;)
Well, I love watching this show, the scenery is beautiful, and it's just more for me to love about Alaska.
If I didn't want to have the career I wanted (next post) then I would SO be an Alaska State Trooper. They are like my serious heroes.
When I was in Juneau, there was a "State Trooper" sign on the side of the road, I thought I was gonna die! Best sign I have ever seen save SeaWorld's sign!

The State

Well, it's Tuesday, I'll be gone for the next 4 days, so I will just continue the 4 of them after this one, today, I said that weird, brains dead today, don't judge.
Well this post is about my favorite state, and that happens to be Alaska.
I have ALWAYS loved Alaska, I don't know why. My stepdad lived there when he was younger, and used to talk about it a lot, and I had watched a lot of programs on the television about it, and I seriously fell in love with it.
I had always wanted to go visit Alaska, but didn't know if I would until college, because I want to go to college up there, in Sitka. But earlier this year, I was offered to go on a cruise up to Alaska. I couldn't say no to that, and I stepped foot in Juneau, Alaska on June 5th, 2012, and it was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I know where my heart is, and that's Alaska. I can't wait to be back up there, soon.
Come on, 18! Hurry up already.

The Song

Monday, oh Monday, why are you here? Just kidding, I'm on break, I'm actually surprised I know what day it is.
Well today, it's my favorite song! Which at the moment is called: Giants by Now, Now Every Children.
My song favorite vary. I don't really have a particular group or genre that I like, I like just about anything but heavy metal, and rap, and some rock and roll rattles my chains, but otherwise I usually like just about everything however I am very picky on the song.
I have been interested in the band named "Hurts" lately, and I think they're beginning to grow on me. All their songs are so wonderful!

The Animals

Well today, I will be doing my favorite animals! This one is kind of a big deal, so it will be a little longer then my previous ones have been!
So, my two most favorite animals are orcas and wolves.
I started loving wolves when I was very, very young. They were always so beautiful to me. I always wanted wolf things, as a matter of fact, my room is decked out in nothing but wolf things! Basically everything I have has some sort of connection to wolves.
I started loving orcas not very long ago, maybe about 4 years ago, when my best friend had gotten an interest in them. I actually had never even knew about orcas or killer whales until about 4 years ago, which is sad because I could have been a lot farther then I am now. But after learning a lot about orcas, I still didn't have the interest in them that I had in wolves, but when I saw my first orca in person (Shouka), my mind was changed forever.
Now, both these beautiful creatures are my favorite animals. And both of them have had a huge impact on my life to where you couldn't even imagine, I can't even imagine it sometimes. I love them both so much.

The Color

Well, today I will be writing about my favorite color.
My favorite color is purple, and actually, there is a reason behind this:
I never knew what my favorite color was, and always thought it was green just because my mother's was green, but then I realized how much I love purple after I found out the color of my birthstone (amythest) is purple! And it kinda sunk in. Now basically everything I own is purple. Even the walls in my bedroom. Joy!
I always wondered why Americans don't spell color like colour... It just rattles my chains! I wish we did! Ah well, can't do much! ;)

The Name

Well, in my last post, I said I would be going over all the topics I listed, one every day and if I'm desperately bored, then probably 2, or none. We'll just see how the day goes.
Anyways, the topic for today is my name, nothing special, but here we go!
The name is Lexie, or my real name, Alexis, I guess Lexie is a nickname, but I don't really know any different from being called "Lexie" as I have been called it my entire life.
